OUR MISSION

The dual mission of The Empowerment House is to uplift and empower our residents mentally and emotionally and to provide housing that dignifies them. Our living facility features positive affirmations in the form of art that adds a positive energy to the ambiance. And we will provide bi-weekly sessions on Friday evenings with a validating message that assures their value, worth and individual power to do better and be better. The theme will always be

You matter. You are loved. You are powerful.

We will invite guest speakers to join us periodically.

OUR PROGRAM

The EmPOWERment House program conditions and trains the residents on various life-skills designed to assist them in hopefully becoming independent citizens who can thrive on their own.

We offer training with hygiene, house management – including making beds, cleaning kitchen and bathrooms, washing clothes, etc. Our facility is a clean, safe, stable and structured environment where residents can feel comfortable.

The EmPOWERment House: Residents & Management

Learn more about our structured living environment.

our BUSINESS MODEL

The EmPOWERment House provides a stable, structured environment where residents follow a daily routine designed to support their well-being and personal growth. Meals are provided, with residents attending a Day Program during the week for counseling and structured activities.

The Resident

We conduct interviews with each resident before they are accepted into the home to ensure that they understand how our program will assist them. It also helps us determine if the potential resident will be able to grow within the program and interact with other residents peacefully.

House Management

The house manager and assistant house manager lead by example. Their role is to oversee the governance of the house and aid the residents in performing the life skills necessary to become productive, independent members of the community. Managers provide 24/7 care.
